Your acceptance to participation in this phase of the Feasibility Study will be location-dependent as this first phase of the plan only covers the South-Western facing side of the Hill. This will allow certain technical requirements to be established in the first phase of development and hopefully will lead to coverage of most of the village and surrounding countryside. However, this does not mean that if you live in other parts of Napton (and the surrounding countryside) that you should not register, we will increase distance and connection as the service grows.

The Broadband Internet Service is being provided via a dedicated 2-way connection to a satellite in geo-stationary orbit. Its performance allows 'file transfer downloads' to be achieved that can be between 20 and 30 times faster than a standard dial-up connection and, of course, it is always 'on'.

For the feasibility period and, for when a full Service has been established in the coming months, business users may be able to apply for a Grant for the first year's Service and Connection. The Terms and Conditions of Service laid out within this form have been created to enable them to be "Grant friendly". When you sign for a subscription package and apply for a Grant and which fails to materialize, for what ever reason, you may cancel your subscription at this point if you wish.

If you are successful in your application for a Grant, the Service will be provided and operated for a period of 12 (twelve) months without any additional payment from any other source being required. Please note any grant received must be paid within 4 (four) weeks of receipt. This will include the initial survey, rental and installation of the equipment and the Service payment for 12 months. Technical and Operational Support and 2 hours on-site training, to enable you to get the best out of the Service, will also be included. Plus the option to take advantage of our “FREE” virus scan/software and updates (for the duration of the connection)

The initial Service Tiers and Pricing Structure will be as stated in the 'Tiers and Pricing Structure Document' (attached). Please note that you can swap between these tiers up to twice within the initial 12-month period without financial penalty i.e., if you find that the 'Business Service' is not needed, then you may change to a Standard Connection and vice versa if you want to take advantage of the full 'Business Service' package.

Please note that connection during the trial phase may be subject to some disruption, this will be kept to a minimum and you will be kept fully informed at all times if disruption is likely. However, please note that we cannot be held responsible for any data loss due to Service down times during the trial. As a 'trial participant', during the feasibility phase, you will be asked to complete a questionnaire and to take part in a discussion forum to enable the level and quality of the Service to be measured and assessed, as part of the 'Feasibility Study' prior to the full Service being established.

After the initial (Grant Paid for) period this service must be paid in accordance to the then published price at the rate of 1 (one) calendar month in advance.
